After your initial onboarding experience, prenatal visits occur on or around the followings weeks. Simply try to schedule your visit close to that week of your pregnancy.

1st Trimester
Visits during this time occur at 8 & 12 weeks. Initial lab work may be recommended and completed in one of these visits.
2nd Trimester
Visits during the second trimester occur at 16, 20, 24, and 28 weeks.
We require a diagnostic ultrasound completed by another party around 20 weeks and will complete follow up labs including the gestational diabetes glucose screening at the 28week visit. You will notice this screening is only available in the mornings as it is a fasting lab.
3rd Trimester
During the third trimester visits occur more often at 30, 32, 34, 36, 37, 38, 39, 40, 41 and every few days after 41 weeks.
Follow up labwork is completed as needed and includes a home visit to prepare for birth.
Postpartum
We visit your home around 24 hours postpartum and 1 week. In office postpartum visits resume at 3 weeks, and 6 weeks.
Our IBCLC also completes a home visit on day 3.
